Cooperation Agreement
The National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" (NSA) and Balkan Sports Development Association (BSDA) have officially concluded a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed on 22.11.2024 by the rector of NSA, Prof. Krasimir Petkov, and the founder of BSDA - Yavor Peshleevski.
The parties expressed their readiness for partnership in the implementation of joint activities related to organizing, supporting and participating in sports events, conducting training for youth, cooperation in Erasmus+ projects, etc. Maya Karamarinova - Peshleevska, co-founder of BSDA, also took part in the meeting.

Erasmus + Projects
- Working Together - Succeeding Better - as a sub-contractor. BSDA works together with the athletic federations from Albania, Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Poland, which are participating in the project, in order to create a Development Strategy for European Athletic Federations.
- Kids Adventure Olympics - as coordinator along with two partners - the Serbian athletic club AK Balkan and the North Macedonian club ZAKCS, BSDA organizes three different editions of a Kids Olympic forum in the three countries - Bulgaria, Serbia and North Macedonia.
- Athletics Respects Your Rights - as a sub-contractor, BSDA conducts educational seminars on the topic of Safeguarding in six different countries: Bulgaria, Austria, Poland, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovia.
- Friendship Through Sport Unlimited - BSDA as a coordinator, along with two partners - the Serbian athletic club AK Balkan and the North Macedonian club ZAKCS organizes three different events for kids introducing a new innovative competition format.
- "Migrant Girls in Sport: Never Behind Again!"2023 - BSDA hosts a dynamic and engaging training designed to adress the specific needs and obstacles faced by migrant girls in the realm of sports, in collaboration with the Italian youth organisation EUROPAMENTE and the Greek social cooperation enterprise ROES COOP.
- “I Run Clean” 2020-2023 - conducting antidoping education workshops for athletes, parents and coaches in athletics, in collaboration with the athletic federations of: Estonia, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
- “Athletics 4 Health” 2021-2023 - conducting researches regarding the decrese of physical activity amongst kids and conducting a strategy to counteract it in the partner’s respective country;
in partnership with the athletic federations of Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Finland. - “Athletics Unlimited Games” Krakow 2022 – multinational event for kids, together with 9 more athletic federations: Poland, Romania, Latvia, Croatia, Lithuania, Czech, Austria, Ukraine,
Slovakia.
